We took a walk to the Tipi today, and we couldn't see it from the road, it was completely covered with snow! A mouse has a tunnel dug into the tipi, and has a trail to the stump where I put the bird seed. That mouse is living large!

New Years Eve 12/31/10
Tomorrow marks our one year anniversary of falling in love with our land. Bobby and I went for a quick snowshoe and found all sorts of tracks! Most notable, Bear, Bobcat and Coyote!

Bobby did more work on the bridges and spent time preparing for our Winter Solstice Party. Our friend Jim helped him for a few hours.
Petey hasn't been well since for a few days and hasn't had a walk. I decided to take him over to TP Road for a nice walk. He was beside himself with happiness. I sat on a log in the sun, overlooking the wetlands and felt every single drop of stress pour out of me and into the earth. I love that land.

Today Bobby finished the floor of the Tipi. It looks fantastic! We are having a Winter Solstice Bonfire Party on the 18th.
